Research preparation

"Research preparation" is the first stage of your research journey. This stage will require you to know how to get funding, design your research, manage your data, and the importance of sex and gender equity in research amongst other important questions. Complete the topics within "Research preparation" and kick-start your research journey.

The modules within "Funding" provide advice from experts on securing funding, guidance on writing a great application, and how to increase your grant success with Elsevier's Funding Institutional.

"Research Design" focuses on how to identify research gaps, how to enhance your chances of serendipitous research discovery, and how to integrate sex, gender, and intersectional analysis into research.

Within "Research Data Management", you will learn how to make your data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable, and how to store, share, and use data.

The modules within "Research Collaborations" offer advice on how to collaborate with industry, guidance on making research collaborations work, and an introduction to the importance of collaborations.

Last but not least, the modules within "Sex and Gender Equity in Research (SAGER) Guidelines" offer guidance on the SAGER Guidelines and recommendations on its implementation by journals, publishers and research organizations – or anyone that would like additional training to make research more gender sensitive and inclusive.
