Senior Scientist in Discovery Chemistry at Merck Research Labs (Boston, Massachusetts, USA)

Sam is currently a Senior Scientist at Merck Research Labs in Boston, working in the Drug Discovery group. Starting as an intern at Merck in 2012 and returning in 2019, Sam has participated in both neuroscience and oncology programs.

Sam obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the University of Pennsylvania in 2014 and his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2018 where he was a NSF Graduate Research Fellow. During this time, Sam has co-authored 10 publications and in 2019 was a finalist for the Reaxys Ph.D. prize.
