Registered Reports: An Editor's Perspective

Martha E. Arterberry is the Clara C. Piper Professor of Psychology at Colby College, Maine. She received her B.A. from Pomona College and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She previously was Professor of Psychology at Gettysburg College, Pennsylvania, and she was a collaborative investigator at the Child and Family Research Section of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.  Her research interests in perceptual and cognitive development include the study of depth perception, three-dimensional object perception, categorization, and memory.  Arterberry is co-author of The Cradle of Knowledge: Development of Perception in Infancy (2016),  Infancy:  The Basics (2022), and Development in Infancy (6e, 2024).  She also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Infant Behavior and Development and was previously editor of the Lifespan Section of Acta Psychologica.
