About this module

So, you’ve accepted a request to review, but what should you do now? If you are new to the reviewing process, the next steps might seem a little daunting.

In this interactive module, we walk you through each stage of preparing and writing an effective review report. We look at the importance of taking time to assess the manuscript and evaluate the abstract before you get started. And, we explore the points to consider when reading each of the individual components, right through from the introduction to the conclusions.

You will come away with a clear understanding of how to assess a manuscript and the ability to express that assessment clearly and helpfully in your review report. You will also learn the value of keeping your comments constructive!
