Prof. Sudhanshu Vrati is Executive Director of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, an autonomous institute of Department of Biotechnology, in Faridabad. He is a virologist with an interest in the development of viral vaccines and antivirals. A PhD from the Australian National University in Canberra, he started his career as a scientist at the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi. He was the first Dean of the Translational Health Science & Technology Institute.

Prof. Gagandeep Kang is the Executive Director at the Translational Health Science Technology Institute, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology. She has worked on programs of vaccine-preventable diseases including rotavirus, cholera, typhoid and dengue, for two decades, and has established a strong training program for students and young faculty in clinical translational medicine aiming to build a cadre of researchers studying relevant problems in India.
