Dr. Flavian Stokker Cheregi obtained his BSc and MSc from the University of Bucharest, and his PhD from the University of Florence, Physics Department. His previous expertise as scientific researcher is in the field of optics, lasers, plasma, and spectroscopy, with applications in materials science. Having previously collaborated with Elsevier as external Managing Editor for the journal Applied Surface Science, Dr. Stokker joined Elsevier in 2022 as Scientific Editor, and since 2024 his role is that of Publishing Ethics Expert.
