Programme Manager - R&D for National Health

Annalisa is the Programme Manager managing the Health Research Careers portfolio at the Health Research Board (HRB). She is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio for health research careers in order to develop a coordinated approach to building capacity and support a highly skilled workforce in health research in Ireland. Annalisa is also deeply involved in promoting open science, FAIR data and research data stewardship through also international collaborations.

Annalisa had many years of experience in scientific research. After working several years in Italy after the BSc, she completed her PhD in cancer biology in Oxford, UK and a post doc at UCD, Ireland. She was also awarded a fellowship from the Italian Association for Cancer Research and a Marie Curie Training and Mobility for Researchers fellowship.
