Alice Darlington

Alice is a Publishing Ethics Expert in Elsevier's Research Integrity and Publishing Ethics Centre of Expertise. Alice developed a keen interest in Publishing Ethics through her work in scholarly publishing, and is particularly focused on transparent retractions,  authorship disputes, and integrity within the review process. 

Alice recently completed a secondment as Elsevier's Gender Equity Taskforce Manager which shapes Elsevier’s contributions to inclusive research from gender balance in editorial boards to sex and gender analysis in Research. 

Alice advocates for inclusive Publishing Ethics training, and regularly speaks to editorial boards about current best practices.
